Wallpaper installation with the wall and material in mind.

Fort Myers Wallcovering provides direct wallpaper installation, removal, preparation, accent-wall work, custom wallcoverings, and seam repairs for residential and commercial spaces.

01 / INSTALL

Residential & commercial wallpaper installation

Wallpaper can soften a bedroom, give a dining room a point of view, or help a commercial space feel intentional. Installation starts with understanding the wall, the material, and the pattern repeat.

Traditional papers, washable vinyls, murals, grasscloth, and peel-and-stick products can behave differently. We can discuss what you have selected and what the room may require before you plan the work.

02 / PREP

Wall preparation

The finish is only as convincing as the surface beneath it. Existing texture, old adhesive, nail holes, loose paint, moisture, and uneven transitions can show through or affect adhesion.

Preparation may include cleaning, smoothing, patching, priming, or recommending a different approach for the surface. The right scope depends on what is actually on the wall.

03 / FOCUS

Accent walls, designer & custom wallpaper

An accent wall does not have to be loud to change a room. A mural, a fine botanical, a geometric repeat, or a textural finish can make one wall carry the visual weight of the space.

Bring the pattern you love, or call to talk through scale, sight lines, trim, and where the repeat will land. The goal is a composed finish, not just a covered wall.

04 / RESET

Wallpaper removal, repair & seam fixing

Removal can reveal more than the next layer of wallpaper. We can discuss what is beneath the existing covering and what preparation may be appropriate before a new finish.

For repairs, the material, age, seam condition, and availability of matching paper all affect what is realistic. Send a request or call with the details you have.

Material matters

Peel-and-stick is still a wall project.

Removable wallpaper can be a smart choice in the right setting, but it still needs a clean, smooth, sound surface and a layout that respects seams and edges. Large patterns can be less forgiving than a small repeat.

If you are unsure whether your chosen product is a fit, call before you order more material than the room needs. We can talk about the wall and what information would be helpful.
